Step-by-step instructions for viewing the revision history of a ruleset and rolling back to a previous revision.

View and Restore a Previous Revision

This guide explains how to view the revision history of a ruleset and roll back to an earlier revision when needed.

History tracks revisions within a version. To manage multiple published versions of a ruleset, see Save a Ruleset as a New Version.

View the revision history

  1. Open the ruleset you want to inspect.
  2. Click History on the right side of the screen.
↳ A list of revisions appears, ordered from newest to oldest. Each entry shows the date and time of the save.
  3. Click a revision to compare it with the current state.
↳ Rulecube opens a side-by-side diff view. The selected revision is shown on the left; the current state on the right. Differences are highlighted. Use the ↑ ↓ arrows to navigate between differences.
  4. Click BACK to return to the ruleset without making changes.

Roll back to a previous revision

  1. Follow the steps above to open the revision you want to roll back to.
  2. Click ROLLBACK.
↳ Rulecube replaces the current state with the selected revision.

Rolling back overwrites the current state of the ruleset. The overwritten state remains in the history list, so you can roll back to it again if needed.
