Create a Button Group Input

This guide explains how to add a button group input element to a Rulecube Form.

A button group input renders a row of buttons where the user selects one option by clicking it.

Prerequisites: Add an Input status to your ruleset, set Type to enum and add Active, Inactive, Pending as Possible values.

Steps:

  1. Click + Element and choose Input
  2. Expand the element
  3. Set the Label to Status
  4. Under Property binding, set the Path to status
  5. Set the Input type to Button group
  6. Add options in one of two ways:
    • Click Add options to add options manually
    • Click Sync with enum to automatically add the options from the bound enum input
  7. Save the Ruleset

The field renders as a row of clickable buttons. The selected button is highlighted.
