# Change Your Password

## Introduction

This guide provides the steps for changing your Rulecube password. It's good practice to regularly change your password to keep up your security.

## Procedure

1. [Log in to Rulecube](/v2.5/how-to-guides/logging-in-and-authorization/log-in-to-rulecube.md).
2. Click on your display name in the upper right corner or on the little downward arrow behind your name: <img src="/files/23LS8bsep7Y0RgmcUMhD" alt="" data-size="line">\
   ↳ The **Account** menu opens.
3. Select **Settings**.\
   ↳ The **User settings** page opens.
4. Click **Change password**.\
   ↳ The **Change password** pop-up opens:\

5. Enter your current password and your new password. And confirm your new password in the **New password confirmation** field.<br>

6. Click **OK**.\
